The Hasiman E306 is one of the elliptical machines released in 2021. It’s a pretty standard rear-drive elliptical, similar to the Niceday CT11 model. However, it has only 8 levels of resistance, and a simpler fitness monitor, without the target-setting function.

Frame construction
The Hasiman E306 elliptical trainer features a frame made of steel tubing. Most of the tubes in its construction are cylindrical; the only exceptions are the longitudinal base bar and the pedal bars. All the steel parts are double-coated with a corrosion-resistant paint finish. The color used is black, this being the only color available for this elliptical.
The unit also integrates several non-metallic parts. For example, the pedal trays, the drive system guards, the console casing, and several other small parts are made from a durable ABS polymer. They’re all black in order to fit the color theme of the machine.
Like most other elliptical trainers in this feature range, the Hasiman E306 features two sets of handlebars. The mobile ones attach to the front mast of the trainer and to the pedal bars. Therefore, they will always move when you pedal and they cannot be locked to remain stationary. They have long PVC foam sleeves for improved contact. The fixed handlebars attach to the top section of the front mast. They have short grips and integrate pulse sensors.
The elliptical is not too large. With all the parts assembled, it is approx. 44″ (112 cm) long, and 17.7″ (45 cm) wide. Its highest point (the top of the moving arms) reaches approx. 50″ (127 cm) above the floor. Its exact weight is not specified, but as a general idea, similar other trainers weigh approx. 80 lbs (36 kg). It is also pretty easy to relocate as its front base is equipped with transport wheels.
Pedal construction, stride, and elliptical path
The Hasiman E306 elliptical is equipped with a set of large pedals. As we’ve mentioned above, their trays are made from a sturdy thermoplastic material. They are attached to two steel bars; both the pedals and the unit’s crankset should be able to support users up to 285 lbs (130 kg).
The pedals do not have any extra articulations or any extra cushioning elements. They are non-adjustable. They feature a textured surface and side guards for improved foot stability.
This elliptical machine does not have an incline system. This being said, it does not offer the possibility to adjust the length or the angle of the elliptical path. It offers a medium-range stride of 15″ (38 cm). Therefore, it should be able to accommodate users up to 6’1″ (185 cm) with no problem. Taller persons should also be able to use this trainer but they may not benefit from a complete leg range of motion.
Like many other ellipticals with a read drive system, the Hasiman E306 model has an elliptical path slightly inclined forward. This being said, the pedaling motion resembles a descent on a surface slightly inclined forward. This leads to a better workout for your glutes, thighs, and calves.
The lowest pedal height is approx. 4″ (10 cm) above the floor, while the maximum pedal height is approx. 14″ (35.5 cm). Therefore, it is recommended to place and use this machine in a room with a ceiling that is at least 20″ (51 cm) higher than your own height.
Drive and resistance
The Hasiman E306 elliptical trainer integrates a perimeter-weighted flywheel. Its exact weight is not specified, but considering its size and overall weight, it probably doesn’t exceed 20 lbs (9 kg). The perimeter weighting improves inertia and adds consistency to the ride.
The flywheel is also bi-directional. In other words, the machine allows reverse pedaling. When pedaling in reverse, the pedaling difficulty remains constant, given by the selected tension level.
This elliptical trainer features a belt drive system. It integrates a poly-v belt designed for improved traction. There are two main advantages to this type of belt drive. First of all, you don’t need to lubricate it as would be the case for a chain drive. And second of all, the belt generates slightly less vibration than a chain.
The Hasiman E306 elliptical is equipped with a manual magnetic resistance system. It offers 8 distinct tension levels. The first few levels deliver a fairly light resistance which makes them great for muscle toning or for a workout warm-up. The 7-8 tension levels provide considerably more resistance, great for a more intense workout, stamina development, and weight loss.
The unit’s resistance system consists of a magnetic brake connected to the tension knob on the front mast of the machine. When you turn the knob clockwise, the magnets move closer to the flywheel which increases the pedaling difficulty. Evidently, since the unit’s brake is not motorized, it does not require a power adapter or an external power source.
Fitness monitor
The Hasiman E306 elliptical machine is equipped with a basic fitness monitor. It features an LCD display that tracks time, speed, distance, total distance, calories, and pulse. It does not have an RPM function. Speed and distance are shown in metric units (kmh and kilometers); they cannot be set to imperial units (mph and miles). The pulse reading function is grip only. The unit cannot be synchronized with a wireless HR chest strap.
The monitor unit does not have any pre-set programs, goal functions, or online connectivity. It only has one button that covers all of its functions. By pressing the button repeatedly, you can select the workout metric that you want to view. By pressing and holding the button, you can clear all the values on it to zero, except the odometer, which can only be reset by removing the batteries.
Although the unit does not have programs or a workout target function, it does have a Scan Mode. You can select the Scan Mode in the same way as you select any of the workout metrics (by repeatedly pressing the button). In Scan Mode, the unit rotates all the workout metrics showing each one for a few seconds.
The monitor unit integrates a device holder. Its top section is designed like a small shelf that can host a small tablet or phone. However, it does not have any ports to connect your device to it. It is battery-powered and requires two AAA batteries. It begins recording your data when you start pedaling and also automatically turns off if it does not detect any activity on the machine for more than 4 minutes.
Assembly and Maintenance
The machine’s drive and resistance unit comes pre-assembled. However, the rest of the parts do require user assembly. You will have to attach the two base bars, the pedals, the front mast, the handlebars, and the console. This may take more than one hour but the task is pretty straightforward. The manual provides clear assembly instructions and a basic toolkit is included.
For maintenance, the internal parts don’t need any lubrication. Therefore, you only need to keep the machine clean, and periodically check for loose bolts and parts to make sure your elliptical trainer still functions properly.
