Frame and parts
To begin with, this Soozier power tower features a steel frame, coated with anti-corrosive gray enamel. It’s pretty similar to the Gold’s Gym XR 10.9 model, however as opposed to this model, the frame of the Soozier one is made of square tubing, not cylindrical. Only its handles and the fixed, pull-up bar are cylindrical. There are very few parts made of other material than steel, and these are the upholstery, the handle covers and the caps of the bases.
The footprint of the exerciser is 54″L x 25″W (137 x 64 cm), rendering it stable enough to support users up to 330 lbs (150 kg). The bases don’t have holes in them for securing it to the floor. It doesn’t actually require to be bolted to the floor, however if you do want to secure it, you can always drill some holes in the base bars.
Even though the width of the base is 25″ (64 cm), the widest point of the tower is actually given by the handles of the pull-up bar. The distance between the curved, outer handles of the bar is approx. 32″ (81 cm).
Like any other power towers with a dip station, this one features as well a backrest and armrests on the dip bars. These are foam-padded, padding with a thickness of approx. 2.5″ (6 cm). The upholstery on them is made of durable vinyl material. Also, all handles of the tower feature rubber padding to provide maximum comfort. The pull-ups bar not only features this type of rubberized padding on its outer handles, its inner portion is completely covered by a sheet of this material.
In case you’re wondering, the distance in-between the armrests is approx. 18″ (45 cm), therefore almost everyone should fit in without any issues. The length of each dip arm is approx. 30″ (76 cm). Differently put, even taller users, up to 6’6″ should be able to use this fitness equipment without a problem, as long as they place it in a room with a ceiling height of 8′, or higher. The tower itself is 82.5″ (210 cm) tall, which means it will fit in a room with a 7′ (213 cm) ceiling, but it will be a tight fit and there won’t remain much clearance above. Therefore, during exercises such as pull-ups or chin-ups, you may hit your head against the ceiling.
Last but not least, the power tower features two footrests at the front, welded to the oblique frame bars, meant to facilitate the user’s positioning and use of the dip station.
Workout stations
Since it’s a basic power tower, it features the three basic workout stations. These are:
Pull-up station – consisting in a non-adjustable, dual-grip pull-up bar. Evidently, this bar gives you the possibility to train your biceps and back muscles, but most exercises that can be carried on this bar will also partially involve other muscle groups.
Push-up station – consisting in two low, non adjustable handles which give you the possibility to perform parallel grip push-ups.
Dip station – consisting in the middle dip bars, with forearm rests and handles. Different dips and knee-ups variations can be done by using these bars, evidently for the training of abdominal and triceps muscles.
Possible Exercises
Even though it’s a simple fitness tower, you an still perform more than 20 bodyweight-based exercises on it. Some of them are:
- Pull-ups
- Wide grip pull-ups
- Muscle pull-ups
- Behind head pull-ups
- Around the world pull-ups
- One arm pull-ups
- Cliffhangers
- Weighted pull-ups
- Chin-ups
- Close grip chin-ups
- Wide grip chin-ups
- One hand chin-ups
- Weighted chin-ups
- Dips
- Weighted dips
- Band-resisted dips
- Dip to leg raise
- Side-to-side dips
- Gironda dips
- Reverse Gironda dips
- Hanging knee raises
- Hanging leg raises
- Push-ups
- … and more
Evidently, you can perform weighted exercises on it. However, keep in mind that its maximum weight capacity is 330 lbs (150 kg). Therefore, in case you want to add weights to your body for pull-ups for example, make sure that your own weight, plus the additional weight does not exceed 330 lbs.
When it comes to exercises that involve balancing your body laterally, such as around-the-world pull-ups, extra care is also required. That’s because the base of the tower isn’t extremely wide, therefore it may balance side-to-side as well. However, if you bolt the base to the floor, issues of this nature shouldn’t occur.
Last but not least, in case you want to perform muscle chin-ups of pull-ups, it’s best to place the tower in a room with a ceiling height over 8′. This way you’ll have sufficient clearance above the fixed bar, in order to execute the exercises completely, without hitting the ceiling with your head.
Assembly and Maintenance
Since it’s a pretty basic fitness tower, the assembly of the Soozier Fitness B1-0110 is quite straightforward and shouldn’t take longer than 15-20 min. Tools for assembly are supplied, as well as a user’s manual which will guide you step-by-step through the whole process.
In terms of maintenance, there isn’t much to do. Basically, you have to check its joints from time to time, and re-tighten the screws if it’s the case. One important aspect to mention here, regards the finish on the frame. Even though the steel parts are coated with corrosion resistant paint, if placed outside where it’s exposed to rain or moisture, the frame can still catch rust, especially at the joints, beginning with the bolts. It’s an indoor fitness tower, thus it’s best to use indoors, and not outside.

How can I order a replacement part?
The B1-0110 power tower is a pretty old model (from 2016, I think). It’s probably no longer available, so parts for it may also be very hard to come by.
