In terms of deck construction, design, and motor, it can be compared with the Sunny Health & Fitness ASUNA 8730. However, the Murtisol model offers online connectivity and is compatible with the FitShow Lite app.

Frame construction
The Murtisol JF-H40DA is constructed on a steel frame combining cylindrical and rectangular bars in its construction. All the steel bars are coated with a corrosion-resistant paint finish. However, the base frame also has covers made of durable thermoplastic material. In terms of color, there are several versions for the JF-H40DA treadmill, including a pink & white version, a black & silver version, a gray & white & blue version, and a black version.
The fully set up machine is not too large compared to other treadmills. It is approx. 50″ (126 cm) long, and 25.3″ (64 cm) wide, while the height of the side poles reaches approx. 42″ (106 cm).
The two side poles with the control panel can fold along the deck. The folded treadmill can be stored vertically or flat. The deck itself is very slim, approx. 4.5″ (11.4 cm). Therefore, if you fold the upright poles, you can even store it under a bed or couch if there is at least 5″ (12.7 cm) of clearance underneath.
This Murtisol treadmill is not too heavy but does weigh approx. 77 lbs (35 kg). Therefore, the transport of the packaged unit requires two people. However, once the machine is unboxed, it can easily be moved by only one person. That’s because its front base integrates a set of transport wheels.
Deck construction
The Murtisol JF-H40DA treadmill features a pretty sturdy deck. It is rated for a maximum user weight limit of 220 lbs (100 kg). It offers a walking surface of 40″L x 16″W (101 x 40 cm) which should be enough for users up to 6’0″ (183 cm), for both jogging and running. Taller persons should still be able to use this machine but they may not benefit from a complete range of motion if running at the maximum speed.
The machine is equipped with a 5-layer belt. The top layer is meant to reduce cadence noise and to provide an improved grip. The 2nd layer is the compression layer, the 3rd layer is for improved strength support, the 4th layer improves the overall wear-and-tear resistance of the belt, while the 5th layer reduces some of the shock generated by your cadence. The deck itself also has a bit of flex, so a jog or run on this treadmill is a bit more forgiving on your joints than a run or jog on asphalt or concrete.
The covers of the side rails are made of durable thermoplastic material. They feature two rubberized and textured sections to provide a superior footing when you decide to take a break.
This Murtisol treadmill does not have an incline system. However, it is important to mention that its deck is not perfectly horizontal. It is slightly inclined (by approx. 1°). This shouldn’t be a major inconvenience, though. Plus, it should add a bit of difficulty to the ride.
Drive motor
The Murtisol JF-H40DA treadmill is equipped with a 2.5 HP (peak power) motor. It offers a speed range between 0.6 MPH and 7.5 MPH and is designed to provide a continuous belt motion during prolonged workouts.
The speed adjustment increments are 0.1 MPH. This being said, the transition from a level to another is done smoothly without jerks or sudden changes, so you can easily adapt your pace. The console offers controls for gradual speed adjustment and quick speed adjustment for 3 MPH, and 6 MPH. Plus, you can adjust the speed of the belt from the included wristband remote control.
It’s important to mention that the belt speed can only reach 7.5 MPH if the side poles are unfolded. If you fold them down along the deck, the treadmill enters the walking mode and the maximum speed becomes 2.5 MPH. Also, the console does not have pre-set workout programs and the treadmill cannot automatically adjust the speed.
The motor itself is fairly quiet. It doesn’t generate a lot of noise when in use, but when running at a higher speed, the thumping of your cadence will be heard. Also, since it isn’t an extremely powerful motor, you won’t have to worry about a high electricity bill even if you use the machine daily.
Console
The Murtisol JF-H40DA treadmill is equipped with a fairly simple console without pre-set programs. The machine uses a LED display built-in the front section of the running platform. It indicates speed, time, distance, and calories burned. The speed is shown in miles. Also, the treadmill does not have a pulse reading function.
The control panel mounted on top of the side poles of the machine has buttons for gradual speed adjustment and quick speed selection for 3 MPH, and 6 MPH. It also has the On/Off button and the magnetic safety key. It also integrates a device holder on which you can place your phone to use as you walk or run on the treadmill. The command panel does not have a USB port for charging your smartphone, nor it has speakers or other amenities.
The treadmill has built-in Bluetooth connectivity and is compatible with the FitShow Lite app. This app is available for both iOS and Android. You can install it on your phone by scanning the QR code visible on the machine’s device holder. The FitShow Lite app syncs with the treadmill and records your workout history such as calories burned, steps, and more.
It is important to mention, though, that the FitShow app does not sync with other apps such as Google Fit or MyFitnessPal. So, your data will remain in the FitShow app.
Assembly and Maintenance
This Murtisol treadmill pretty much comes fully assembled. You only need to unfold it, secure the two poles up with the provided Allen wrench, plug it in, and you’re ready to go.
In terms of maintenance, the belt requires periodic lubrication as is the case for most treadmills. However, it is pre-lubricated from the factory so it shouldn’t need any lubrication for a while. Also, the belt should be kept clean, to prevent any textile fibers or debris to be caught into the motor.
